Vintage are a firm of Chartered Financial Planners dedicated to helping clients achieve their financial goals and aspirations. We provide independent financial advice to individuals, trustees and business owners to help them build, manage and protect their wealth.
Formed as Vintage Investment Services in Middlesbrough, 1988, Vintage has enjoyed increasing success in recent years, having moved via Waterloo House to prestigious new offices in Preston Farm, Stockton in 2016.
In 2011, Vintage became Vintage Chartered Financial Planners after being awarded Corporate Chartered Status – the first company in Teesside to do so. With an ever growing number of staff either having achieved or working towards individual Chartered status, our combined knowledge and experience allows us to provide the highest standards in financial planning to each and every client.
As dedicated financial planners, we are especially proud of the loyalty shown by our existing clients over the years, believing it stands as a testament to the quality of the service that Vintage provides.
We believe that technical competence as evidenced by qualifications is a cornerstone of good advice. All our staff are actively encouraged to maximise their potential and aim higher than the set minimum standards. We are proud that Steven Hodgson FPFS has attained Fellowship of the Personal Finance Society which is the highest level of professional qualification.
Vintage invest in a wide range of front and back end technology. This allows us to maximise our research and forecasting capabilities and increase the levels of client experience. We believe in being pro-active in this area to ensure that we constantly remain above the curve and to allow us to remain truly independent.
We will advise, make a recommendation and arrange any suitable products for you after we have assessed your needs. Our recommendations will be based on a comprehensive and fair analysis of the market, taking into account all relevant financial products. In addition, our adviser charging structures are designed in order that we remain truly impartial when comparing the markets.
We actively encourage and support all our staff to develop their knowledge and skills with an agreed annual programme of continuing professional development (CPD). All our advisers hold a current Statement of Professional Standing (SPS) and regularly attend seminars, presentations and events run by professional bodies, other professionals, such as solicitors or accountants, as well as self-directed study and examinations.
